Hmmm, who would have thunked that we were all related

Abby got an mp3 player for Christmas (being the cool kid she is, she calls it her iPod of course), and I had no idea that she would love it so much. She has been skipping around the front yard all day singing Alvin and the Chipmunks at the top of her lungs. And heaven forbid she try to tell you something with her music blaring in her ears...she totally sounds like loud ole' Aunt Ethel when she talks. Kids these days! Next thing you know, she will be texting her friends during dinner time...ahem, Aunt Bethany.
I am now a firm believer that we will NEVER get everything unpacked and the house back in order. It seems that as we are tackling one task, the kids are destroying yet another section of the hizzouse. But, the Christmas tree is down and the playroom is rearranged (with two big bags of old toys to give to other children...and only a few tears from tweedle dee and tweedle dum in the process) and the new toys now have homes among the shelving. We're in bidness now!

"Bethany, look like the girl on the Abercromie ad...not like a thug!"
The girls have really enjoyed playing with their new toys...and Nafey has LOVED playing with the remote control to the TV, despite the humpteen dozen new cool thingamabobs he got. His favorite new toy is Abby's talking puppy...but I think that is because she yells at him everytime he gets near it. He has the pestering gene down already, that's fo' shizzle.
Emma's favorite present was all of the candy she received. All of the candy that I am half a mind to just throw away so she won't ask to eat it every 10 minutes, despite just swallowing the last piece I let her have. That kid's teeth are literally going to rot out of her head. I foresee it. Call it mother's intuition.
My littlest bro (nevermind him being about 8 inches taller than me) is a senior this year, so we took some pics over Christmas. In fact, I think this was Christmas day...and it was fah-reeeeee-zing. Sorry Jared. Gotta love those old Kentucky tobacco barns.
And here are a couple from Ashley (another one of my sisters...dude, there are like tons of us) and John's engagement session. Just a sneak peek before I head to bed. I'll post more from all three of these shoots as I get them edited over the next few days.

Em got an Mp3 player for Christmas, as well. She's loving it... and also does the loud talking, it's funny.

You have beautiful sisters & a handsome brother!
