Getting the boot! Woohoo!!

Nathan slept very well last night and has slept virtually all morning long. When he isn't asleep, he just lays in the crib staring off into space or watching cartoons. We think that this is the energy component of the past few days...his body is just trying to rebuild now. And even though he looks worst today energy-wise than he did yesterday evening, all of his labs are looking really good. His sugar dropped quite a bit after they stopped dextrose, but his body was able to stabilize after a while. He drank 8oz of gatorade over the course of the day so far and has kept down a few more cheerios, so from here out, we can manage everything at home. They are getting the discharge papers up right now and booting us out. Oh, I am so excited to get my baby boy home and sleep in my own bed tonight.

Poor sweet Nate-man.....its so sad to see him like this. I really hope things start getting better for him and all your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you x

So glad you are coming home and Nathan is coming around. What a scary time. Your hospital sounds amazing! Maybe we should think about a move to Gatorville!?!?!

Hooray!!! SO glad y'all get to go home! I will be praying diligently that he wont catch many "bugs" like the one he's getting over in the future! I am also saying a special prayer for y'all that every one sleeps peacefully in the Ferrell household tonight!!

I sure hope that Nathan gets to feeling all better soon. Surely home will help. There's no place like home!

I am so glad that Nathan is coming home! Hospitals are no fun but especially for children.

I am visiting from Lynette's "Getting to Know You" and wanted to say Hi. Pray all goes well with your little guy!

Blessings,
Karen
