Ballet 101

All ballerinas need a tutu to hide the granny panty drawers sticking out the sides of their leotards. Short ballerinas need specially made pink tights that don't hike up all the way to their collarbone and still collect in bunches around their ankles.
Ballerinas are dainty and graceful and do not need to run into the opposite wall after sounding like an elephant while trying to perfect their arabesque.
Ballerinas always listen to their teacher and do not disrupt the class with incessant talking.
Ballerinas always need little brothers to come and cheer them on...especially when they insist on teaching them all the intricate moves learned each week.

You guys get to watch? No fair!

E's teacher very calmly explained for the recital that tights = underpants so the underpants bunching wouldn't be noticeable in recital costumes!

Pretty funny!

In the next to last picture, it looks like Emma is about to break out into a cheer. Cute pics!
